The Infrastructure division operates as a housing and utility service provider to Rio Tinto's Iron Ore group. Our role is to manage Rio Tinto assets in the sites and towns that support our residential based operations which include Dampier/Karratha, Pannawonica, Paraburdoo, Tom Price and Wickham.
Across all towns we manage more than 2,800 houses and are responsible for property management, housing maintenance and refurbishment, Home Ownership Programme contracts, interest and rental reimbursement schemes as well as providing electricity and water services.

Our energy efficiency programme encourages residents and businesses in the Pilbara to reduce their energy use by:
- improving the identification and uptake of cost-effective energy efficient opportunities
- provide incentives for reducing household energy consumption
- improve productivity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
